For nearly 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a sonographer (RDMS AB, OB, Br, RVT, R.T.(S)), and to this day, I still love what I do. Sonography is such a unique profession, and while it can be incredibly rewarding, it also comes with challenges that only those in this field truly understand.

My vision for Opul & Co is to create a little corner of the internet for sonographers. A place where you can find helpful educational materials, free downloadable resources, and thoughtfully designed clothing and accessories that you’ll actually want to wear on and off shift.

But more than anything, I want Opul & Co to be about community.

I think we can all agree that being a sonographer is so much more than scanning. We see things that can change someone's life in an instant. We navigate difficult exams, encounter unexpected findings, comfort patients through uncertainty, and sometimes have to deliver news that no one is ever prepared to hear. We carry the weight of those moments with us, even after we clock out. And while we spend so much of our time caring for others, I think we could all use a little reminder that we deserve to feel seen and supported, too.

Our profession can sometimes feel overlooked, and I want this space to help change that. Whether you’re a seasoned sonographer, new grad finding their footing, or a student dreaming of the day you’ll be behind the probe, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
